Application Settings

In this module, the user can modify some of the characteristics of the software.

    1. Skin: The user may change the way the software looks.
    2. Temp data path: This is the path that the software will use to make flat files during the matching and standardization processes.  It is highly recommended that this directory has a high amount of disk space because larger projects can cause the size of this directory to grow very quickly.  The software must have admin rights to this directory.
    3. Data path: This is the directory where the project contents will be stored.  The software must have admin rights to this directory.
    4. Project path: This is the directory where the project file (*.dmeproj) file will be stored. The software must have admin rights to this directory.
    5. Email: The user may enter an email address in order to receive a system-generated email when a match event finishes as well as receive a match summary report as an attachment.
    6. Language: Data Ladder currently supports English and Spanish.
    7. HDD space settings: The user may set a minimum amount of free space in order to pause the software if disk space is running low.
    8. Update check: This feature allows the user to allow or deny the system to automatically check for version updates.
    9. Address data path: This should point to the directory where the CASS files are installed.  This only applies to customers that have a license for Address Verification.
    10. Geodata path: This should point to the directory where the CASS files are installed.  This only applies to customers that have a license for Address Verification.
